How to Make A Tie

1.Tie fabric:

Silk or polyester fabric is widely used,silk is elegant and soft good for personal or wholesale,polyester is very cheap with good quality,good for team,club or school use, or promotion and advertisement

2. Tie design:

a. Yarn-dyed tie: The pattern must have a certain regularity with logo, simple design or geometric pattern repeated 

b. Digital printed tie: pattern has no specific requirement, as long as you can think of it, it can be printed up 

c. Screen printed tie: need make the films first, which is commonly referred to as silk screens, inks will penetrate from the allowed place of films

3. Fabric prepared:

After fabric printing finished,we will need to wash and dry it, which ensure there is no extra ink and will not shrink,when customer wash it, the tie shape will not change a little

4. Ironing

Before cutting,we will need to iron the back of fabric on a low setting to remove wrinkles, folds or ripples to make sure cutting the fabric evenly

5. Cutting tie fabric:

Lay out the tie pattern on the fabric,cutting the fabric into the shape of the tie, must be 45-degree angle on the bias, which allow the tie to have more elasticity.When cutting, we will leave 3/8 inch extra room for sew the inseam

6. Cutting tie lining and back liner

Lining can polyester, silk or wool according to different quality request

Cutting lining is same as cutting tie fabric,the lining size will need to be exactly same as the finished tie, no extra room needed

Back liner will be used to cover the back of ties,also we will embroidery the logo or patter on it if you need,which can show your brands nicely

7. Applying the lining

Ironing the lining on the back side of the fabric, the side will not be showed, after ironing finished,stitch the lining on the back side of tie fabric around the edge of the tie,ties edge will completely cover the lining

8. Machine stitch or hand sew the ties

Sew the two edges of the folds closed from the top of the tie to the end of the fold,our skillful workers will make it show seamless 

9.The auxiliary process 

Sew the label or tag on the ties and add a loop on the backside of ties, loop should can be same pattern as tie or custom pattern
